Amberlay Launches campaign for women on Career Break to feel True Independence
Pragati decided to take a career break to have her baby but wanted always to have a comeback. She dreamt of having a successful career but not at a stake of family and Motherhood. She is not only one in the country. Survey and Study revealed that 20 million women left their job in the past few years. Around 65-70% of women who quit never return to work at all. Only 12% women are participating in Urban India as compared to Bangladesh (63%). India can’t grow if our women can’t participate.
#NurturingDreams, is an initiative to encourage women on a professional break to reinitiate their career. As part of this initiative, Amberlay commits to provide the complete support to such women who wish to come back in the career after a break. It also commits to providing an environment to address their concerns and get desired support in the best possible way. It is an advanced step towards helping women who wish to fulfill her career dreams after a break in her career.
Taking a break from work can be as liberating as it is daunting, depending on your reasons and situation. But getting back can have its own set of challenges. The major can be “Who and How my kid will be raised?”
Amberlay wish to support such women right from the day they plan their Interviews. The Founder says “Come with your Interview Confirmation and we will take care of your kid on that day”. Idea is to make her feel stress-free and confident to cross her first step while planning a comeback in career. There are many support centers planned in the coming future to extend our support through all the means across the city. It cannot be a campaign for a day or week but it has to be an initiative driven throughout the year to ensure #NurturingDreams is successful in getting the women back to the career.
Let us all join hands to take this initiative ahead!
